Well, in amongst other artwork which I am thoroughly enjoying, I completed Marilyn today.
The "piggy" look of the work in progress has gone and hopefully I have improved the likeness.
It's difficult to convey how much I "get into" a piece when I am painting. this one completely immersed me and I hope I have done Marilyn justice. The completion of this art coincides with me finally getting to see "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes". Lets just say they definately don't make them like that any more! Jane Russell was amazing too.
