Dirty Working Practices

I always recall a boss in my early days working in Interior Design who told me that "a tidy desk is a sign of a sick mind".
This was later followed by a boss who was completely the opposite to the point of obsession. "Whose crumb is that?" he once asked in all seriousness.
Today I noticed a fellow artists palette. All the colours were in neat piles I had a look at the palette I was most recently using and it looked like something a dog would eat from or perhaps something from an operating theatre. I don't know if I could ever work clean. I even murder my brushes.
It's probably a psycological backlash after working for the "crumb" guy. I hope you are well wherever you are Peter!
