I started a painting more than three months ago of a very helpful girl, Jo, who modelled for me and the result was several pieces of female figurative art which i was very pleased with as it challenged me and I also thought showed some progression in my painting.One painting though, just wasn't happening and was really causing me to think a lot. After a period when my painting slowed down a lot recently, I feel that I am back in the swing and this week, I tackled the painting which has been hanging on the studio wall and rather than panting over it, as I was about to, I took it in a new direction
I have added it to the website as a work in progress....we will see where it goes.
